Lessons

The lessons take place once or twice per week. In our lessons, we usually incorporate lesson books, the type of which is usually determined on or shortly after the first lesson. The lesson books help the student to absorb the material in a most logical way. In addition to the pieces from lesson books, students play scales, etudes, sonatas, and other classical pieces.

Playing various types of pieces and exercises allows children to explore creatively, while teaching them discipline and responsibility. In addition to the wide variety of materials we utilize in our classrooms, we also have a team of dedicated and professional instructors that have spent most of their lives mastering their craft and they are excited to share their knowledge and expertise with your child.

School Rules

  • Parents may drop-off/pick-up only. Upon request, lessons may be "live streamed" (Facetime or Zoom) for the parent to watch.

  • Students must bring their materials (book/notebooks) in order to have a productive lesson.

  • For legal and safety reasons, parents must drop off and pick up their child(ren) within 5 minutes of the lesson start and end times.

  • If the student comes late, a full lesson time is not guaranteed - it will likely proceed for the remaining time of the booked lesson slot.

"Our daughters have been Yekaterina’s students for years and we could not be happier! She is extremely professional, kind, well organized and very effective! She meets each student where they are at and has dealt so well with their different personalities and learning styles. Our girls have made amazing progress. We love that Ms Yekaterina also focuses on music theory and we love her classical approach. What a treasure she has been to our family!"
